About the role: The Municipality of Colchester is seeking a full time Recyclable Materials Sorter to receive 40 hours a week to work out of the Material Recovery Facility in Kemptown. Labour is required as individuals must be capable of quickly and efficiently sorting and processing all kinds of paper and plastic products on a production line. This is a unionized position with access to union pay and benefits.
Salary: $23.05 per hour. Hours are Monday-Friday, opportunity for overtime on occasion.

Qualities to succeed in this role:
· Excellent interpersonal skills with a focus on being a proactive team player
· Working as a team, on a production line in a fast paced environment
· Hand eye coordination and attention to detail to sort material on a production line
· Ability to stand for long periods of time and to handle light, medium and heavy loads
Education & experience required:
· No education required, but proven ability to learn on the job
· Previous experience working in a fast paced environment is considered an asset
